One of the best things about spring in the south is that all the flowers start blooming. In this class we will bring these colorful blooms inside and work on creating a flower bouquet out of wool. This class will teach you everything you need to begin needle felting. No prior experience is needed, and all skill levels are welcome. This is a great class for a beginner, and if you have previous experience we will build on these skills and add more intricate details to our creations. Anyone can learn how to needle felt!
In this class you will learn how needle felting works, as well as the best materials to use. We will work on the techniques needed to make petals, strong stems, and leaves. All materials are provided, and you will be able to take them home with you. This includes:
A foam mat
Finger gloves for protection
A wooden needle felting handle with two needles
Wool and wire to create your flower bouquet
At the end of the class, you will have a beautiful bouquet to display and the skills and tools to take home with you to continue creating!
