Summer has never been this much fun!
Our students spend the week creating one-of-a-kind art pieces. Each week we focus on different art forms. Kids are encouraged to use their imaginations as they explore new art techniques and mediums - from sculpture to airbrush, drawing to printmaking, slime to Photoshop, and everything in-between - there is something for everyone! We know kids don’t stop learning during the summer, so we made it educational too!
At Blair Center for the Arts, our outstanding instructors teach a wide range of youth classes, from photography and Photoshop to drawing cartoons and comics, from painting to crafts and mixed media, and everything in between. Check out some of our popular courses below, and sign up today!

Every child is an artist!
Imagine combining your wildly imaginative pre-schooler with impressive art supplies, phenomenal art teachers, oodles of fun & a dash (or 8) of glitter. All you need to worry about is deciding where you're going to display your new art collection!
Pre-school children are introduced to a supportive social environment in which to gradually explore their independence. While building social skills, self-awareness, and self-confidence. The young artists are guided through the creative process through the encouragement of original and creative self-expression. You’ll want to drive straight to the frame shop! Our goal during summer camp is to entertain your creative artists! Variety is the spice of life so during Stroke of Genius Camp we will engage in a wide range of projects with topics and supplies that will spark their creativity & expose them to a stimulating mix of age-appropriate art techniques each day. Summer camp gives us a chance to do more grandiose projects that take a bit more time, there will be painting, paper Mache, and anything else that sparks their creativity as we go through the week.

Have some fun learning to draw zany caricatures of celebrities in the style of artists Tom Richmond and Glenn Ferguson!. This half-day camp runs Monday through Friday. 9am-12pm (Morning) . We provide all the supplies. Join us for a wonderful experience!

Students will increase their knowledge and skill level in this drawing camp. We'll focus on art principles, techniques, and self-critique. Students will fine-tune their draw skills with a new understanding of line, shape, value, perspective, and texture.

In this camp, students create original pieces in color (animals, landscapes, unique washes) while learning about the color wheel, line, shading, brush strokes, watercolor painting, and different drawing methods. Learn to create amazing and vividly-colored animals as we explore the most colorful animals in nature. Kids will use pencils, markers, and paint to create one-of-a-kind artwork. Call the framer! Taught by Dru Blair

Not your typical watercolor experience. Come create colorful mini watercolor and markers art. Teens create several small paintings on paper. Students learn new pen and markers techniques and apply watercolor to their illustrations to add color pops and depth. No watercolor experience is needed. Instructor: Silvia B. Blair

Children's Private Lessons
In-studio or Online | Schedule Private Lesson
We offer one-hour online interactive art lessons conducted in real time by our professional instructors. You can choose among drawing (beginning, intermediate, or advanced), cartooning, markers, watercolor, acrylics, and Photoshop. Most classes are offered in the afternoon and evening so as not to interfere with regular school. You can take a class every day, once a week, or whenever it is convenient for you.
