Digging Deeper: Take your painting to the next level with Larry Moore
Building on the principles presented in the Level 1 Principles of abstraction workshops, this class takes your work and thought processes to the next level. Knowing how to develop an authentic language is only half the battle, what do you do with it?
We focus on the 7 tenets of creative expression and how to insert yourself into your art, how to develop concepts and themes within in a body of work or a single painting. We also explore new ways to think about what you have to say and developing an authentic language. It’s preferable to have the first class under your belt to take this Level 2 class or at least 2-3 years of committed painting experience, it is not for rank beginners. This class is not limited to non-objective painting, the principles apply to all modalities of painting. I have extensive background in realism, interpretive realism, and non-objective painting. Open to all mediums.
