Prepare for your School of the Arts audition with focused instruction designed to build confidence and strengthen your drawing skills. Students will refine the fundamental techniques required for a successful audition, including observation, proportion, shading, perspective, and composition. 

Throughout the course, students will practice a variety of still life drawing exercises, receive individualized feedback, and participate in mock auditions to simulate the audition experience. We'll also complete the required still life drawing for each student's portfolio, ensuring they leave with a polished piece and a clear understanding of the audition expectations.

This class is ideal for students planning to audition for a visual arts program who want expert guidance, constructive critiques, and the opportunity to practice in a supportive environment. We offer multiple sessions through the school year until auditions in the spring, but they are all the same. Your child is welcome to take it multiple times if they want to continue to deepen their skills and better prepare for their audition.
